Ruth Aubrey Van Amburgh, 95, was born into eternal life Sunday, January 30, 2005 at the Samaritan Hospital.
Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine Morgan Kerin.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold J. Van Amburgh.
She was the cherished mother of Edward Van Amburgh (Arlene) of North Greenbush, John Van Amburgh (Nancy) of North Greenbush, Harold G. Van Amburgh (Phyllis) of DeBary, Fla. Fay Allen (Kevin) of Niskayuna, Paul J. Van Amburgh, Sr. of Princetown, Linda Banker (William) of Averill Park and Christina Giovannangelo (Daniel) of Rotterdam;
beloved grandmother of Samuel, Ruth Anne and Mark Van Amburgh, Melissa Brenz, Elyse Le May, Daniel and Timothy Van Amburgh, Joseph Milot, Jr., Jeffrey Milot, Michele McGovern, Paul Van Amburgh, Jr., Keith and Jennifer Van Amburgh, Kerin Banker-Byer, Kimberly Bryce, Lisa Giovannangelo-Morey and Daniel B. Giovannangelo and the late Harold G. Van Amburgh and Lisa Milot;
dear great-grandmother (GG) of Bridget Amicone, Joseph Milot, III, Connor and Paige McGovern, Joshua and Jared Brenz, Abigail and Ryan Le May, Brianna Van Amburgh, Zachary Van Amburgh, Shannon Swart, Grace and Vincent Van Amburgh, Aubrey Byer, Lindsay Bryce.

Funeral services Thursday at 10:15 a.m. from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany, thence to Sacred Heart Church, North Albany at 11 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday 4 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment Albany Rural Cemetery.
